Advanced Ceramic Cyclone Liners

Maximum Wear Resistance from Greenbank, Guaranteed...

Greenbank Terotech is unique in the abrasion and chemical resistance field having “in-house” facilities to provide a complete service to industry. From an initial “We have a problem” enquiry we have the ability to carry out an engineering survey, provide a detailed report with solutions, prepare design and manufacturing drawings, supply and manufacture.

Sitech Liners

Backed by over 25 years experience in the handling of design, manufacturing and installation contracts our clients automatically gain the benefit of our unparalleled experience in the abrasion and chemical resistance field.
Greenbank Terotech has built up an unrivalled knowledge and method of utilising abrasion resistant products introducing to the market the many advantages and cost savings that can be obtained by their use.

The Company’s range has been expanded from initial Cast Basalt products to meet all the needs of the materials handling industries and today offers a complete equipment protection service incorporating as required SiTech Advanced Ceramics, Alumina Ceramics, Silicon Carbides, Basalt, Impact Ceramics, trowel-on compounds and all the necessary fixing cements.

Greenbank’s endeavour is to supply the most cost effective ceramic lined cyclone components, by identifying the most economical lining system and engineering it to suit clients needs. Greenbank has achieved a breakthrough in the lining of hardrock mining cyclones. SiTech Advananced Ceramic has proven through extensive field trials, to be the most cost effective material against all competitors.

Greenbank has the expertise to know that not all ceramics are the same and each performs in different ways, under varying conditions. Greenbank can advise the optimum solution for an application which includes the utilisation of SiTech cyclone Liners, Impactalum and Alumina Chute-linings, Alumina and Basalt Fabricated Pipe systems.

Ceramic Linings that Outlast the Others...

SiTech Advanced Ceramic has an extremely fine, nil porosity grain structure and does not exhibit a lower hardness matrix. The matrix is of similar hardness to the main ceramic particles. Thus providing an extremely hard wearing surface, most suited to high wearing cyclone components.

SiTech can be manufactured to fine tolerances, allowing intricate parts to be produced. These can be fitted to existing holders or can be incorporated into removable polyurethane liners.
SiTech Spigots, Vortex Finders, cones and Feed Chamber liners have proven superiority over conventional rubber and ceramic liners. Very abrasive sulphide ore applications have shown SiTech to outlast rubber, Alumina and Silicon Carbide ceramics many times over.

SiTech - Applications
Feed Chambers - SiTech Feed Chambers utilise specially engineered tile sections. Due to irregular wear experienced in the feed chambers, tile sections can be replaced in the most severe wear areas, whilst the low wear area tiles are left to achieve their maximum life.
Spigots & Vortex finders - can be produced in many variable shapes and sizes to suit all cyclone types. SiTech is specially incorporated into moulded polyurethane holders which are designed to be compatible with the existing holding and clamping systems used at each mine site, thus ensuring a very quick change over when replacing worn components.
Upper & Lower Cones - SiTech can be produced to suit variable angle cones. Very large sections can be provided using specially engineered tile sections. Polyurethane is moulded over the outer surface of the cones to suite existing holders.
